Capacity to Inode Ratio

Ratio: 1TB quota to 10,000 inodes

An inode is a record that describes a file, directory, or link. To ensure good streaming performance of the tape archive subsystem and increased performance for file recovery, this ratio is enforced for all projects.

Checking Quota Usage

Versity’s ScoutFS/ScoutAM product can implement quotas on a user, group, or directory basis. Jade leverages the directory quota feature to limit the size and number of files in an allocation to that allocation’s respective limit.
